Event-Lib version 0.05

This module is a Perl wrapper around libevent(3) as available from
<http://www.monkey.org/~provos/libevent/>.  It allows to execute a function
whenever a given event on a filehandle happens, a timeout occurs or a signal is
received.

INSTALLATION

To install this module type the following:

   perl Makefile.PL
   make
   make test
   make install

DEPENDENCIES

This module requires these other modules and libraries:

    + libevent(3) from <http://www.monkey.org/~provos/libevent/>,
      probably at least version 1.0c thereof; 
      1.0 might work too, though
    + a C compiler
