NAME App::finquotehist - Fetch historical stock quotes VERSION This document describes version 0.002 of App::finquotehist (from Perl distribution App-finquotehist), released on 2019-11-29. SYNOPSIS See finquotehist script. FUNCTIONS finquotehist Usage: finquotehist(%args) -> [status, msg, payload, meta] Fetch historical stock quotes. Examples: * List available engines (backends): finquotehist( action => "list_engines"); * Fetch historical quote (by default 1 year) for a few NASDAQ stocks: finquotehist( symbols => ["AAPL", "AMZN", "MSFT"]); * Fetch quotes for a few Indonesian stocks, for a certain date range: finquotehist( symbols => ["BBCA.JK", "BBRI.JK", "TLKM.JK"], from => "2018-01-01", to => "2018-09-07" ); * Fetch quotes for a stock, from 3 years ago: finquotehist( symbols => ["AAPL"], from => "3 years ago"); * Fetch splits for a few Indonesian stocks: finquotehist( symbols => ["BBCA.JK", "BBRI.JK", "TLKM.JK"], action => "fetch_splits" ); This function is not exported. Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments): * action => *str* (default: "fetch_quotes") Choose what action to perform. The default is 'fetch_quotes'. Other actions include: * 'fetch_splits' - Fetch splits. * 'fetch_dividends' - Fetch dividends. * 'list_engines' - List available engines (backends). * engines => *array[perl::modname]* (default: ["Yahoo","Google"]) * from => *date* * symbols => *array[str]* * to => *date* Returns an enveloped result (an array). First element (status) is an integer containing HTTP status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element (msg) is a string containing error message, or 'OK' if status is 200. Third element (payload) is optional, the actual result.
